You can use this option to send coupon codes to your clients’ email address so that they can easily find the coupon if they forget it or decide to use it later, for example. Please note this feature is available for paid users only and that you need to use the “collect emails first, then show coupon code” widget type. You can click here to learn how to collect emails using Coupon X.
So let’s get into it.
Step 1: First, open your Coupon X app settings and edit your widget. You need to go to Step 3: “Popup design” and look for the the ”Send coupon to client” option and then check the box to select it, like so:
Now, you can enable sending your contact form leads to your email address.
Step 2: To set this up, you will need to add the desired email subject, email body, sender’s name and sender’s email. You can also choose when to send the coupon to the client’s email – immediately or after a certain time.
Let’s cover more about each option below:
Email Subject
This will be the subject line of the email sent to your clients at the email address they provided.
Email body
This will be the body of the email. Variables such as coupon code, store name, and client email address can be added to the email body.
Sender’s name
This will be displayed as the sender’s name to your clients – for example, your business name.
Sender’s email
The client who signs up for the coupon should get the coupon from this particular email, for example, your business admin email.
When to send the coupon
After the client submits their email address, you can choose how long you want to wait before sending them an email – immediately or after a particular time.
You can also insert tags like {{couponName}}, {{shopName}} which are respectively the actual coupon and the store name.
Finally, you can send a test email lead to your email address to see how it works.
