How to install Chaty on SquareSpace

In this guide we’ll show you how to install Chaty on a SquareSpace website.

Let’s dive in on how to install Chaty on SquareSpace. First, you will need to create an account for the Chaty app here or if you already have one, log in instead. 

Next, proceed with creating and customising your widget by adding your preferred channels such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, Line and so on: 

After you are done, you need to copy the installation code:

 

Now, let’s connect Chaty to your SquareSpace site.

To install the Chaty code on the entire site, go to your SquareSpace dashboard and click on Go to website in order to open the site configuration:

Then click Settings > Advanced > Code injection to open the Code injection tab.

Once the Code injection tab is opened, go to the Footer section and paste the Chaty installation code. After you are done, don’t forget to save the changes.



And that’s it! Now you can display chat channels like WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram and SMS on your entire SquareSpace website. In the end, depending on your settings and customisations, it could look something like this:
