In this guide we’ll show you how to add a countdown timer to your My Sticky Bar welcome bar.
You can use this feature to announce a temporary or upcoming event such as a sale on the top of your webpage and increase your conversion rate.

Let’s get right into it. To enable the countdown, head over to the welcome bar settings and toggle the ”countdown timer” button on:
A tab with additional settings will then appear that you can use to fully customise your countdown timer.
First, you can select when the timer should start – either from the welcome bar appearance for your current user session or from a specific date and time.
If you select your timer to appear on welcome bar appearance, you will need to fill in the minutes and seconds of your timer. The timer will count backward until it’s 0:00:00.
If you select the timer to appear from a specific date and time, you will need to fill in the ending date and time and your relevant timezone.
Either way, to proceed the personalisation of your bar, choose your countdown background colour and font colour and button position – to either have the button visible on the left or on right side of the timer.
When you’re done, make sure you hit the ”Save” button at the bottom of the page to make sure your settings will be displayed accordingly. That’s it! Easy as 1,2,3 ☺️ In the end, based on your settings, the result may look like this:
