In this guide, we’ll show how you can control the visibility of your Sticky Element using scroll. This functionality will allow you to reveal your Sticky Element when the page is scrolled a certain percentage, enhancing user engagement and interaction.
Let’s start!
Step #1: From your widget settings, go to DISPLAY & BEHAVIOR SETTINGS.
Step #2: Scroll down and you will see Visible After Scrolling.
Step #3: Add a value in the “visible after scrolling” field
The visibility of the Sticky Element is determined by this value. For instance, if you set it to 40, the Sticky Element will appear after scrolling 40% of the page.
Note: It’s essential to consider the “Display after” setting.
The “Visible after scrolling” feature relies on the “Display after” setting. If “Display after” is set to 0, the Sticky Element will appear immediately, regardless of the value in “Visible after scrolling.” To ensure proper timing, set a relevant value in “Display after,” estimating how long it should take your visitors to scroll the percentage specified in “Visible after scrolling.”
For example, if you set “Display after” to 10 seconds and “Visible after scrolling” to 40, the Sticky Element will show once users scroll past 40% of the page within 10 seconds. However, if they take longer than 10 seconds to reach that scroll point, the Sticky Element will still appear after 10 seconds.
That’s it!
