In this guide we’ll show you how to add a social share to your website. AddToAny gets people to the right social media platform to share or save your content.

So let’s dive in. First, you’ll need to create a My Sticky Elements or use the existing widget on your website as well. Now go to section 2 – “Add chat and social media” and from the Chat & social icons add a new custom shortcode:

Next, we’ll get the AddToAny HTML code. To apply the default social sharing style, add this custom code into the space provided below.

For a more customized social share style, navigate to to create your preferred code.

You can customize the channel appearance by expanding the “Appearance settings”. You can then customize the channel appearance by uploading a custom icon – for example a share icon – or choosing one from the Font Awesome directory. If you select an icon from the Font Awesome directory, you can change its background colour and colour. You can also add an icon text (the text that will appear under the icon in the My Sticky Elements widget), for example,” Share”, as well as your icon text size.

Now navigate to WP Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and add the following code:

That’s it! When you’re done, don’t forget to hit the ”Save changes” button to make sure your settings will be displayed accordingly. In the end, depending on your settings and customisations, it should look something like this:
