In this guide we’ll show you how to create a custom link or JavaScript channel. Click here to learn how to add a custom shortcode/HTML channel to your widget.

You can use the custom channels to link to any web page, social service or even custom JavaScript code (e.g. you can use it to launch a chat provider like Tawk.To).

To learn more about how to use the My Sticky Elements plug-in click here, and don’t forget to check our entire My Sticky Elements knowledgebase to make the most out of it.

Here’s how you do it:

  1. Click on the custom icon channel
  2. Enter the URL you’d like to link to (it can also be a JavaSript code starting with “javascript:”)
  3. Click on the Appearance settings dropdown to upload your own custom image or select a Font Awesome icon instead. You can control the colors, on-hover text and select if you want the link to be opened in a new tab.
