Please follow the steps below to understand the process:
Step 1: Login to your WordPress Admin panel and go to Post/Pages/Media section where you have enabled Folders to use. We are illustrating with the help of Media section here:
Step 2: Now click on the sort icon in the Folders section:
Step 3: Then you will get the following options to sort the Folders:
Step 4: Choose your preferred option and the folders will appear in that manner. For example, we chose the A to Z sorting style and now it appears like this:
