In this guide we’ll show you how to import folders in Folders from other file manager and organise plug-ins.
To learn more about how to use the plug-in click here, and don’t forget to check our entire Folders knowledgebase to make the most out of it.
To note: at the moment Folders supports folders import from the following plug-ins:
Let’s get right into it! Go to your WordPress dashboard and click on the Folders settings in your admin panel.
Click on ”Import” in the page that will open.
Here you will see any other file manager and organise plug-ins detected (from above mentioned) together with the number of folders, if any. If no file manager and organise plug-ins are detected, you will see a message reading Folders was unable to detect any external folders that can be imported.
To import your external plug-in folders, click on the “Import” button. You will be asked to confirm your action.
Now, go back to your Media, Posts, Pages or anything else you may use Folders with and you’ll see that the folders just imported in the Folders plug-in.
That’s it. Easy as 1,2,3!
