In this guide, we’ll show you how to enable the Folders notifications.
With this Pro feature, you can receive alerts to your preferred email addresses whenever there’s user activity on your folders or file modifications.
Let’s start!
Step 1: Open the Folders settings in your WordPress admin panel.
Step 2: In the screen that will open, choose Notifications.
Step 3: Toggle on the Allow Notifications.
Step 4: You can test to check if you can receive emails from your WordPress site.
Step 5: Choose when you’d like the notification to be sent by ticking the checkbox.
You can also choose not to be notified when the changes are made by a specified user.
Step 6: Select post types. For example, select Media if you only want to be notified when a new media file is uploaded.
You can also edit what details to include in the Subject Line and Content Body
Step 7: Don’t forget to hit Save Changes when all is set.
That’s it! The email will look like the image below depending on the notifications you have enabled. It will be sent every 10 minutes when there’s activity.
