Folders Plugin allows users to organize and manage their media, pages, and posts efficiently within WordPress. With the new Export/Import feature, you can easily transfer your folder structure from one website to another, simplifying the process of migrating, backing up, or syncing your folders.
This guide will walk you through the steps to export and import your folder structure within the plugin.
Exporting Folder Structure
To export your Folder Structure, you need to go to your WP Dashboard > Folder Settings > Tools and click on the Export button.
Once you click the button, a JSON file will be downloaded to your system notifying you that you have successfully exported your folder structure.
Importing Folder Structure
To import your Folder Structure, you need to go to your WP Dashboard > Folder Settings > Tools and click on the Import button.
Once you click the button, you will be asked to select the JSON file from your computer’s file directory.
After you select the relevant JSON file, you will see a table showcasing the folders that will be imported and once you are okay with the details, you can hit import to import the folders.
