How To Add Browser Or Operating System Targeting To Your Widget

In this guide we’ll show you how to add browser or operation system (OS) targeting to your Coupon X widget.

With this feature you can display your widget only to visitors browsing your site from a specific OS (or more than one OS) or browser(s). For example, you can choose to show the widget only to visitors who browse from an iPhone mobile device or from a Google Chrome browser in desktop.

Let’s get right into it. First, open the Coupon X plug-in dashboard from your WordPress admin panel and click on the “Edit” button next to your widget.

Choose Step 4: Triggers & Targeting, scroll down and look for the ”OS and browsers targeting” option. By default, the widget will be displayed for all customers, no matter what browser or OS they’re viewing your website from.

Click on the “Add rule” button and select the relevant for desktop and/ or mobile rule(s) from the relevant dropdown menus ”All desktop browsers”, ”All desktop operation systems” or ”All mobile browsers” and ”All mobile operation systems”.

When you’re done, click on the “Save” button. Now your Coupon X widget will only be displayed to visitors who meet the browser and OS source criteria you have just selected.
