How to install Chaty on Joomla

So let’s dive in on how to install Chaty on Joomla. First, create an account for the Chaty app here or if you already have an account, log in instead. 

Next, set up and customise your widget by adding your channels of choice such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, email and so on: 

After you are done, copy the installation code:

 

Now, let’s connect the Chaty app to your Joomla website.

To install the Chaty app code on the enitere site, go to your Joomla dashboard, click on System > Site Templates in order to open the theme menu:

Then, click on the theme you want to add the code in and open your theme’s index.php file with the Editor.


In your theme index.php file simply paste the Chaty installation code at the bottom, right before the closing body tag and click on Save.
